Tianxi Lab Advisory

How we work

Five steps keep the assessment question, evidence and recommended actions connected.

01

Discovery

Clarify the laboratory context, distributor objectives, stakeholders and boundaries of the pilot.

02

Data Collection

Agree relevant inputs and review de-identified information. Record missing data and assumptions.

03

Assessment

Map the current workflow, examine constraints and distinguish observations from hypotheses.

04

Improvement Plan

Prioritize recommendations, dependencies and equipment-planning options for stakeholder review.

05

Follow-up

Review agreed actions, clarify findings and identify what needs further validation.

Recommendations are not validated outcomes. Any operational changes require appropriate local review and measurement.

What helps an assessment

We agree the information needed for the question at hand. Not every pilot requires every input, and data gaps should remain explicit.

Use aggregated or de-identified information only. Confirm that you have permission to share any laboratory materials.

  • Current workflow descriptions, process steps and handoffs.
  • Aggregated workload volumes and relevant demand patterns.
  • Equipment inventory, capacity assumptions and known limitations.
  • De-identified workspace layouts or photographs, where appropriate.
  • Staff observations, existing work instructions and 5S practices.
  • Project objectives, decision timing and implementation constraints.

Do not share patient identifiers, patient records or confidential commercial information in an initial inquiry.

Start with one defined laboratory question

Outline the workflow challenge, available information and proposal timing. A pilot can focus the assessment on a manageable scope.
